Our engineer was called out for a faulty Grundfos Scala2 Pump in Ranelagh. The pump itself was only installed less than 15 months and it was making a loud screeching noise whilst running.
Upon further inspection, the bearing inside the pump motor appeared to burning out. These bearings, you would expect, should last more than 10 years, but these had not. This is just one of the issues that are associated with the new variable speed Grundfos Scala2 Pump; some of which are:
- Leaking motor seals
- Motor failing completely
- Main control board failure
- Case leaking.
- Cracked pump body.
Whilst not all of these pumps have experienced problems, certainly a disproportionately high number have. If you are experiencing any issues with your Grundfos Scala2 Pump, please call us or contact us and we will be happy to help.
Our team are always available every day of the week and every hour of the day, so if you have an emergency, please call us for assistance.
